VICTORIA – Victoria’s first Cyclist’s Collision Checklist pamphlet is hot off the presses — just in time for Bike to Work Week. Working with the Greater Victoria Cycling Coalition, the ELC created the pamphlet to provide information to cyclists who are involved in collisions or near-collisions. The pamphlet provides tips on how to gather evidence and witnesses and otherwise protect your legal rights after such incidents. It is hoped that informing cyclists about how to assert their legal rights will counter the under-reporting of incidents and lead to safer conditions for cyclists. Copies of the pamphlet are available at local bike stores, the Greater Victoria Cycling Coalition office and the ELC office.Brochures are printed on 100% post-consumer paper with Waterless Soy Bean Based inks and have an environmentally friendly aqueous coating for pannier durability.\
